as we begin the month-long trek into the holiday season full of much of the stuff we ate last week (and the weekend...and this week), it's important to keep our metabolic rates at higher levels than what they sink to when we are sitting around on our bums. in order to facilitate the upgraded standards, i have one word for you: hoops. nine out of ten doctors agree and recommend hoops to keep your family from shoving you back in the ocean by mistake. (that tenth doctor was one such shovee.)
