sleep in on friday

i have had sparse response for interest in hoops on new year's day, so i am calling it closed. go ahead and sleep in. (or if you end up waking up early enough, there is always waffle house.)

we will resume a normal schedule on monday, january 4. it will be a good start to the new year...then.

happy new year!

final stretch hoops

we have only a one day left to play hoops in 2015. if you made a resolution for this year, still got a shot.

still need to make sure we have enough to play on friday. i have a few commits. i will check the count again tomorrow morning to see what we have.

so, tomorrow.

christmas week hoops

we are playing monday and wednesday. i believe there is enough interest for wednesday to have a few good games.

we won't play on friday this week. (it's christmas, remember?)

next week, we definitely play monday and wednesday, and i will check again to see what attendance we might have for new year's day.

see you tomorrow!

closing in on christmas

we are just a week away from christmas. this year, the day falls on a friday. i'm going to make the assumption that no one will up at 5:30 on christmas morning to play some basketball. (i know i won't be getting up that early on that day.)

this leaves me with questions to ask for the other days. how many can be there on monday and/or wednesday. i would imagine monday to be normal, but wednesday might be iffy. that means i will need a firm count for wednesday.

and while i'm asking, what is the interest for friday, january 1? will there be enough waking up from counting down with ryan seacrest the night before to show for hoops? i'll need a firm commitment of at least eight for that day.

you can email answers to the group or raise your hand around the circle tomorrow...or monday.

missing rudolph

we had nine players on monday. (we were just missing the last, perfect player.)

i know most of you are probably still laying in bed christmas shopping on amazon, but hoops is the only way to work off those sugarplums and the figgy pudding.

see you tomorrow!

about ten days...

...until the days start getting longer again. i am looking forward to that.

also looking forward to more hoops. tomorrow even.

oh, and new basketballs. three new ones. all pumped up.

numbers monday

we had a good turnout on monday with 13 total. it was good to have neal back with us. (basketball ≠ tennis) and there were some amazing shots.

tomorrow is another day. and we might see an early christmas...if a reindeer sees his shadow.

on the 19th day of christmas...

...ten players hooping.

i am anticipating ten. be part of that ten. set an alarm. show up. play hoops.

see you then!

tis the season

as of tomorrow morning, there are 21 more shopping days until christmas. before you hit the mall (or waffle house), come play some hoops.

after that, shop.

hoops first. shop after.

back to business

the courts are ready for some action starting tomorrow. december hoops kick off with a shiny new floor. be amazed at the sheen (not charlie) as you see your own reflection. the balls might bounce better too. who knows!

be there in the morning!
